A lot of bloggers give their best, they create content they see as the best for their readers only to end up seeing the content as a failure.
I have also experienced the same, wherein I did my best, put in lots of hours into a blog post only to see it end up as a failure. And I have written some posts I didn’t even expect to exceed a few hundred views only to see them skyrocket my traffic above the roof. The one question I ask myself is, what makes this post different from the others?
As a blogger, your blog is as successful as your content and there is no point in writing blog posts that don’t get read. There are so many things you can do to increase the likelihood of your blog post being read by your readers and one great, tested and proven thing to do to ensure your bog posts are always read is to make them more personal.
The Bond Between You and Your Readers
You might be asking yourself. Why is it that people read a post and not read the others when they both contain the same level of information or even when the post that is not read is more informative than the one that is read. The truth is what matters most isn’t your content but how it is being read.
It isn’t the information in your blog post that matters but how it is perceived, read an understood by your readers.
There is a bond that is always established between the writer and reader of any blog post. It is this bond that makes your reader feel connected to you and feel as if you’re communicating with him/her, it is this bond that make your reader want to take action upon what you share, it is this bond that encourages the reader to share your content and it is this bond that makes your reader see your content differently from every other content that can be found online.
The fun fact is that this bond is different for everybody and the bond experienced while reading your blog post, irrespective of how personal you are, will be different from mine even if I am very personal. You need to create this bond first, and the trigger of this bond is your personality.
Always ensure your personality shines in your blog posts. Write like you’re talking to your reader. Don’t write like you’re writing to a group of people, but like you’re having a personal communication with a close and trusted friend and you’ll see your content improve significantly in no time.
I have tested this particular formula over and over again, and it works every single time I make use of it. In fact, every single post I wrote using this method has been viewed over a thousand times whereas my average posts are being viewed only around 300 times.
