I have discovered 4 types of blog posts that always work on my blog and I have been using them with success more recently so I see that there is no point in keeping these tips to myself and I have decided to share them here.I know these tips aren’t new but the reality is that very few people make good use of them. Below are 4 great types of blog posts that will always be popular.
Personal Posts
The #1 post type I have always had success with on my blog is writing personal posts that touches the heart of my readers. Posts that are personal do a lot to let my readers know who I am clearly while also inspiring them to take action.
A personal post can be in any form. It could be in the form of you writing your story of how you want from a failure to someone who is being sought after. It could be a story of how you addressed a very critical problem in your life you find difficult to share with others and it could be a story of how you went from a nobody to somebody.

Case Studies
Another great type of blog post that will always go viral is a case study. The reason for this is that there are so many advice online teaching people what to do and what not to do and people are tired of reading these advice so they want something that works and since a case study shows people exactly what you did and how you do it they see it as something more practical they can easily relate with and they’ll always do their best to spread the word about it.

Resource Posts
Another kind of blog post that will always go popular is a resource post. In most cases resource posts are comprehensive posts linking to other blogs/articles around the web and every single blog post of this nature I have seen and written have gone popular.
With resource posts you might not get a spike in traffic at first but due to the fact that these kind of blog posts always get a lot of backlinks you will be able to rank higher in the search engines and you will eventually get a lot of traffic on the long run.
A great example of a resource post on my blog that has been viewed by over 10,000 people, mostly from search engines, is my list of dofollow blogs.
List Posts
The final kind of blog post that will always be popular is a list post. We see these kind of blog posts in the blogosphere every time and the truth is that if written properly they will always be a big hit.
The one major reason why list posts will always be popular is because people love to scan articles while reading and that’s exactly what list posts promise them, so when they see the title on their favorite social media network they will happily click over because they believe it won’t take them time to finish reading it.
