Launch Unlikely iPad 3 In 2011 Due To Retina Display Constraints



Early users of the iPad 2 may be relieved, it seems highly unlikely that Apple will launch iPad 3 this year, according to a report by Taiwan – DigiTimes.
It were some rumors and speculations that Apple will launch iPad 3 or iPad 2 Pro with Retina Display in 2011, although the launch iPad 2 earlier this year. But the second time Digital, Apple has decided to postpone the launch due to poor performance than is necessary iPad Retinal Display.
DigiTimes reports:
Apple was originally set to launch its iPad 3 in the second half of 2011 with a supply volume of 1.5-2 million units in the third quarter and 5-6 million in the fourth quarter, but Apple’s supply chain partners have recently discovered that the related figures have all already been deleted, the sources pointed out.

The possibility of launching an Apple iPad second this year has been very speculative at first. It all started with John Gruber of Daring Fireball, who has a good reputation when it comes to Apple rumors, speculation that Apple plans to launch the third generation IPAD in September this year. We have also discovered evidence of iPad 3 in the beta versions of iOS 5 that have been seeded to developers of iOS Developer program.
We’ve always maintained that is unlikely that iPad 3 will be released this year as Steve Jobs had categorically stated that “2011 is the year of iPad 2”.
